Macungie Madness - Extra Crispy
On July 13, 2024, PhillyMINI will be rallying from MINI of Allentown through Macungie, Boyertown, Kutztown and ending at Kauffman’s BBQ Restaurant for a day of fellowship with friends!
Since many of our fellow club members will be away enjoying MTTS 2024, we thought it would be fun to have a MINI meet on the East Coast for those who cannot attend. PhillyMINI invited MINIs of New Jersey for a fun day of driving, friendship and lots of MINIs. We will be met at the restaurant by another rally group traveling from Carlisle and Maryland. So LOTS AND LOTS of MINIS!!! PhillyMINI has rented the pavilion for the day. We will be arriving approximately 1PM and park in the field next to the large pavilion.
The restaurant is located off of Route 22 and offers famous rotisserie barbecue chicken, along with home cooked Pennsylvania Dutch food as well as homemade soups, desserts, and an all you can eat salad bar. Food and ice cream can be purchased in the restaurant, or you can BYO if you prefer. The restaurant also has a pond with ducks and an 18-hole mini golf course.
*Dogs are welcome at the pavilion but not inside the restaurant.
For the Rally portion of the day:
Join us for a spirited rally through the hills and farmland around Macungie, Boyertown, Kutztown and Bethel with lots of tight twisties and good views.
There will be three Chicken legs to this rally and will end at Kaufman’s BBQ Restaurant 254 Gravel Pit Road, Bethel PA 19507 for a picnic under a private covered pavilion. (This is a rain or shine event). Lunch will be on your own. Kaufman’s has a wonderful take out menu, ice cream stand and mini golf course.
If you want you may also bring your own lunch or drinks (non-alcoholic) There is a restroom at the pavilion for our use, private parking next to pavilion.
First group should arrive at the restaurant by 1:00 PM.
